Anyone got a spare one left over from a set or something? Mines rooted :(

Can pickup with cash or pay postage or whatever. Fairly sure theyre the same but Im in need of a front one if that helps.

Like I was telling you the other day, if you don't wanna spend much money on your current car, just buy some sealant and smear it along the whole gasket and tighten the bolts tighter.

True, however I will most likely be selling it which means I want to at least fix it up a little bit.

Plus Id rather know that the leak wont come back if for whatever reason I end up keeping the engine or the car. May as well just do the gasket.

If you use some Ultra Blue or similar it will never start leaking again unless you take the cover off. Will be perfectly fine to sell with it as well.

You even need to use the sealant in the corners of the outer cam caps on a brand new gasket. Or do what Phil did and use a whole tube on a brand new gasket. :lol:

I didn't use a whole tube :tongue:
I just put a bead all the way around, top and bottom. ;)
That tube done heaps of sealing on the Vectra, my FTO and the FTOs on the DIY tappet day.
