235 is too big.

Am getting Federal RPM's again as i quite liked them on the last set
WOW they are rare, dont even have 225 they have 235/45's only in 17's :/

And i dont want to go back to 215's :/
I wanted to fit my 215's to my rims and was told that i could, but i cannot
find a tyre fitter that will do it, they all say its not possible to stratch that far.

Yeah probably not a good idea anyway?

If they won't do it, its not safe.

Despite you having driven on 9.5 inch rims with 225's. Admittedly you didn't get the tyres fitted iirc.

Option One recommended this tyre option straight up without me saying anything when enquiring about a full set of new grids.

If you have a look at the specs on the federal website, the federal RPM are a heavier duty tyre.

Well i fixed my indicator stalk by ripping parts out of a prefacelift complete combination switch.

I seem to have a "Facelift Style" combination switch due to the fact that i have traction control and the ring needs to pass through the sensor as the wheel is turned.

Also before I came accross the complete prefacelift combination switch, i was at the wreckers and was poking around Magnas, Galants, Lancers, Nimbuses and Mirages.

Magna - Stalk is too short and assembly is different

Nimbus - Completely Different

CE-Lancer/Mirage - Stalk Plug different, but able to be connected up to FTO (was not willing on a gamble) - slightly different body but still able to be mounted on facelift FTO Combo

Galant - Completly Different

Id say that you could take the internals out of a CE Lancer/Mirage one and put it into yours.

So i ended up doing completely different things to what I said I would do.

Ended up doing a Facelift Steering column upgrade as I had a dickload of play in the steering wheel mounts.

Facelift is a lot more heavy duty and is equipped with solid fixed mounts.

Pictures will come later.

No not very difficult

Most difficult part was getting most boss kit off the original column, crowbars, hammers then finally Sahin and I used a boss kit puller lol

Alright in the pics below the facelift is the column at the top of the pictures, you'll notice its a lot thicker and the mounts are heavy duty/solid.

Bit of surface rust on the facelift column but its now been removed with rust converter and ive painted the column in subframe gray.

Can anyone confirm how many turns they get to each full lock from centre. I think facelift may have less turns, only takes one and quarter turns from center for me.
