Pretty happy with results - a nasty drop in torque at around 5000rpm which I am told is due to Mivec coming in too early (had it set at 4900rpm) Have now set to 5600rpm
Performance mods on the car include 2.5" exhaust, custom extractors, pod filter and Field mivec controller.
Is a hub dyno, it usually read higher then the one on rolling.

Cost me $850 fitted and ready to go - Seemed a better option for me than bringing them in from Aus - Noticable difference with them on too. I can actually hear the Pod filter sucking air at an idle now where I couldnt before and it feels far more responsive.

Made by Pitstop on Fitzgerald Ave here in Christchurch. Went on the RPW website and got a pic of theres to show them as a reference - and the princaple of how they work is pretty simple really. The guys there are pertty clued up and did a real nice job.

what? he produced 166hp at the wheels which usually translates to arund 160kws at the fly. So he is producing 13kws more than stock.
If the FTO average is 90kws stock at the wheels a loss of more than 30% in a FWD car is massive. Either FTO's are aging a lot or mitsu over quoted power figures.
Usually 20% is the average. If you take in comparison a lot for other 150kw cars usually produce around 110kws.
If you take into consideration your average than that equates to about 120-130hp at the wheels which makes the Mivec a 120-130kw engine.
Also states 170 mn of torque??? Bit lower isnt it??? I would be expecting 220-230 at least!
